Common questions about our pricing and credits
Credits are the currency used across all features. Here's how many credits each feature uses:
Animate Old Photos: Standard Mode: 2-4 credits per video · Advanced Mode (HD video with audio): 3-8 credits per video · Pro Mode (best quality with audio): 5-18 credits per video, depending on the AI model selected and whether audio is included.
AI Hug Video Generator: 3 credits per video.
Restore Old Photos: Standard Mode: 1 credit per photo · Advanced Mode (higher clarity): 2 credits per photo.
Add Loved One to Photo: Standard Mode: 2 credits per photo · Advanced Mode (higher clarity): 3 credits per photo.
Credits are deducted automatically when you use a feature, and the exact credit cost is always shown before you generate.
Animate Old Photos generates HD videos with audio support in Advanced and Pro modes. Standard mode produces good quality videos without audio.
Photo restoration and Add Loved One outputs are available in higher clarity with Advanced mode.
All outputs are perfect for sharing on social media, family celebrations, group chats, and preserving precious memories with motion and sound.
Pay as you go is a one-time purchase. You buy credits once, use them when you need them, and there is no subscription.
Monthly gives you the same monthly credits as the matching one-time plan, plus subscriber benefits like rollover credits, priority generation, priority support, longer cloud history, and 10% off extra credit packs.
Annual gives you the same credits and subscriber benefits as Monthly, but you save 20% compared with paying month to month.
Monthly and Annual plans: You receive a fresh set of credits at the start of each billing cycle. Any unused credits roll over to the next cycle and stay valid for 12 months from when they were added.
Pay as you go: Credits are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. A good fit if you only need the service occasionally without a subscription.
You can purchase additional credit packs anytime as a one-time payment. Any new credits you buy are added to your existing balance, so you can top up whenever needed without waiting for your subscription to renew.
Subscribers automatically get 10% off all extra credit packs.
You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard. Log in, click your profile picture (top right), and select Manage Subscription.
You can also visit the billing page to manage or cancel directly.
Your access and monthly credits will continue until the end of your current paid billing period.
After cancellation, no new credits will be added. Any credits you already received will remain available. Each batch of credits keeps its original 12-month expiration date from when it was added to your account.
Generally, we do not offer refunds for subscriptions or purchased credit packs. However, if you experience issues such as suspected credit card fraud, significant technical problems, or if you have not used the service since purchase, please contact us at support@animateoldphotos.org. We will review your situation and do our best to find a solution.
